A walk to remember

.. well I owe this one to the x-tra strong cuppa black coffee I had yesterday night thanks to which I am still awake! It doesnt happen to me often you know, the only times I get to see how the world looks like at this of the day is when I am awake all night - like now :). The weather in amdavad has been unbelievably sexy since yest evening so much so that I couldn't resist taking a stroll around the campus (it isnt very easy to get me outta my warm and cosy room) and man! .. I have no regrets..

The moment I stepped out of my room, I saw this cat (that keeps entering my room) with her kittens all cuddled up next to the dried clothes.. looking so awww.. if I werent so scared of them I would've cuddled up one of them.. well, nevermind. I stepped out of the hostel and the first thing I could smell was the rain-caressed-smell-of-wet-mud.. which reminded me of my childhood for some reason. The wind went whooshing past my ears undoing my already untidy hair. Thats when I realised how bad I must be looking with this dirty, over-sized pair of denims, a sweater 2 sizes big and a hair that now resembled a crow's nest, but well, who cares! :)

The campus looked deserted excepting for one watchman near the admin office who obviously took no notice of my presence. The wise old trees swished their branches to the music of the winds, as if dancing in joy. The leaves rustled producing a soft rythm for the branches to sway.. It was so poetic even for a poetically challenged person like me. Leaves crumbled under my feet as I walked near the main gate, and it was amazing to see little birds having their early mroning conversations.. man! they talk to much. I sat down at my fav spot near the temple.. to just enjoy this moment..

For those few minutes everything seemed beautiful.. made me want to sing "All things bright and beautiful.." which actually I did ;) who cares anyways!
